I'm Dafna, and I am an actor and theatre director based in Brooklyn, New York.  I was born in Tel Aviv in Israel, but moved when I was eight to Paris. I lived there until I went to New York for college, where I discovered a passion for theatre and performance. During my time at Columbia University, I studied directing while performing whenever I got the chance. My work as a theatre artist began with a focus on devised work and physical theatre. During the summers, I had the incredible opportunity to train in corporeal mime with the Theatre de L'Ange Fou and in Suzuki/Viewpoints with SITI Company. Since graduating with a B.A in Drama/Theatre Arts, I've worked on several theatre and film projects, and trained extensively with The Studio/New York, completing both their Summer and Nine Month Conservatory programs.
